With a heavy heart, Jounouchi Katsuya dragged his feet through the empty halls of Domino High School. The aisles were adorned with shades of red, filling the students with Valentines Day spirit. These giggling girls and grinning boys had long since disappeared, however.
Otogi Ryuugi had received many gifts of admiration from the female members of the student body, as did Kaiba Seto. (Why Kaiba Seto received so many gifts with his lack of personality, Jounouchi couldn’t fathom. He reasoned it must have been his wealth that brought all the affection so many girls showered upon him.)
Motou Yuugi had received a small bag of chocolate from Mazaki Anzu. (This Jounouchi figured would happen; even he was not so oblivious as to not take notice of the starry gaze in Anzu’s eyes whenever they met those of the innocent boy.)
Even Honda Hiroto bragged about the words of affection Jounouchi’s own sister had mailed to him. (Of course, Jounouchi had Honda in a rather uncomfortable head-lock upon hearing that news, but it did nothing to alleviate the weight on his heart.)
Though he seemed disinterested, Bakura Ryou’s delicate features and unusual complexion had also earned him many tokens of affection from the girls of Domino High. (Jounouchi had counted on this happening as well; pretty boys like Bakura get all the girls, he thought to himself.)
The last thought passing through Jounouchi’s mind especially caused him grief, though he couldn’t make a clear meaning of why. He wanted to be disappointed about Kujaku Mai not acknowledging him on the day of love, but the thought didn’t faze him. No girl had given him any sort of gift on this day, but he felt a particular sorrow when his thoughts turned to the silver-haired boy and the offerings of admiration he had received. Jounouchi shook his head, too grief-stricken to unravel the mystery of his own emotions.
The blond boy strolled over to his locker and subconsciously entered his combination. He pulled the door open to find a white envelope floating out from his locker and drifting to his feet. Adrenaline pulsed through his veins as he hastily retrieved the envelope, finding it sealed with a rose colored, heart-shaped sticker.
His lips twitched into a grin as he gave an excited laugh. He turned the letter over in his hands, failing to find a name or any indication as to who the letter could be from. He tore open the heart shaped seal to read a very simple note:
I hope you like them as much as I do.
“Like what as much as who does?” Jounouchi asked himself. He gazed into his locker to find a batch of creampuffs wrapped in plastic. Puzzled, he turned around, looking for the sender responsible for his confusion.
Hazel eyes met with those of deep brown as Jounouchi turned to his right. Bakura gave the tall blond a genuine grin, unlike the polite smile Jounouchi was used to. “They’re my favorites.” The pale boy explained.
Placing his hands gently on Jounouchi’s shoulders, Bakura quickly scanned the hallway to find the two were alone. He reached up and brushed his lips against Jounouchi’s cheek, pulling back with a slight blush.
Crimson now claimed Jounouchi’s features. He grinned, but found no way to put into words the emotion he felt. Instead, he did the only thing he felt he could do: babble. “The letter, and, um, creampuffs, you gave to me, and…”
Bakura chuckled in response, taking hold of Jounouchi’s hand to lead him out of the school building.
“Thank you!” Jounouchi finally managed to blurt out, now walking beside the pale boy, making no effort to pull his hand away.
“You’re very welcome.” Bakura replied politely as Jounouchi awkwardly walked him home.

Truth and Ideals
I remember hearing from my friend about a ROM download for a Pokémon Black game fairly recently.
She told me the site via email and I downloaded it eagerly.
Oddly enough it wasn't a real Black game- the title screen came up with both Reshiram and Zekrom.
Pokémon: Truth and Ideals
Of course this immediately interested me, I inquired to my friend about it but she refused to answer her email again- I even tried her cellphone but she wouldn't pick up.
Oh well, I decided I would play anyways.
I made my way through a fairly normal Routine, but instead of the Female and Male trainers the professor popped up and ther

Curiosity...
Did you ever hear that old saying?
"curiosity killed the skitty"?
Well... I certainly wish I had...
It was a bright morning, the sun was rising past the distant mountains, making the clouds look cotton candy pink. The dew on the blades of nearby grass dripped onto my legs as I ran- my egg was hatching earlier than expected, and of course we were in Ursaring country.
I looked back to my shedinja, following closely, and nodded.
He quickly ran in front of me and led me to the edge of the bear pokemons territory.
Just as we crossed into the safety zone, the egg glowed with a blinding light.
I shielded my eyes, and when the light had diss
